ESE-Verkko creates open solutions on Aidon's meters

Aidon delivers its new-generation open-architecture energy meters to ESE-Verkko Oy, located in Mikkeli.

The service contract contains ca. 11,000 meters from Aidon and Onninen Oy , who also delivers remote reading program. The project management, installation, meter reading and data communications come from Empower Oy. The main part of the project will be implemented during 2007 and 2008.

"We want to provide our customers with better and more up-to-date information on their electricity consumption. Aidon's innovative and modular meters enable new solutions in the future", says Jussi Malkamäki, Managing Director, ESE-Verkot Oy.

"The purchase process of automatic meter reading systems has changed. Today, there is great demand for multi-vendor equipment, such as the one being delivered to ESE-Verkko. We have an important role in these new generation projects", says Aidon's Marketing Director Petteri Heinänen.
